Venue & Tournament Details

The 2027 WPT® LAPC Championship main event running February 26 through March 3 at The Commerce Casino & Hotel — and the headliner of the larger festival taking place January 15 through March 7 — is everything you'd expect from a spectacular live poker tournament in the heart of Southern California.

It all began during the very first season of the World Poker Tour®, when Gus Hansen made poker history by winning the WPT® LAPC Championship at The Commerce Casino & Hotel. Over the years, the tournament became a cornerstone of the WPT® schedule, crowning legends such as Phil Ivey, Antonio Esfandiari, Michael Mizrachi, and Chris Moorman.

Now, this historic championship returns for Season 25, featuring a $10,000 buy-in and freezeout format. With nearly two decades of unforgettable poker moments behind it, the WPT® LAPC Championship is ready to make history once again.
