Congratulations on winning your entry to the WPT® Prime Championship at Wynn Las Vegas! Please review this information guide to help manage your time while in attendance.
Remember, your travel arrangements, including flight, hotel, and transportation, are entirely self-arranged this year. It is also your decision on check-in and check-out dates. So keep event dates in mind when making your reservations. Whether you’re staying on site at Wynn or Encore Las Vegas or another property, be sure to check to make sure your reservations are booked.
Please ensure you have a valid Credit Card and Photo ID upon check-in at your hotel. Most hotels charge a deposit for your room upon check in. The deposits are usually refundable after you check out if the terms of your stay are met.
For more information on your room deposit, please contact your hotel directly.
There are many dining options in the casinos, from casual to fancy. Coffee is available to purchase at several locations, and there are convenience store options as well.
Smoking is allowed on the casino floor in designated areas, outside in the patio and pool areas, and on designated hotel floors.
On Wednesday, December 10, you and a guest are invited to join us at Flight Club, in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian for a happy hour and ceremony to honor our ClubWPT™ Player of the Year. Flight Club is an upscale venue with food, drinks, and games like darts!
The party starts early at 4:30 PM and will go until 7:00 PM. This is just a great time to socialize with your fellow players and the WPT® crew. It will be a lot of fun, and we hope you can make it!
The Venetian is on the same side of the strip next door to the Wynn. However, these are large properties, so bear in mind that it will require a good deal of walking for most people to get there. With that in mind, give yourself plenty of time to get there.
The Venetian is located at 3355 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
There are taxi cabs and ride share services available at the airport. Instruct your driver to drop you off at the main entrance of Encore – not the Wynn.
Where are the WPT® tournaments taking place?
In the Encore Ballroom. Check property maps on site, or look for signage pointing the way.
How do I get my seat assignment?
On Monday, December 8 @ 6:00 PM, attend the Meet & Greet at the Brahms Room, or refer to the directions above if you are unable to attend the Meet & Greet.
What do I need in order to play?
Bring your valid government issued ID (must be 21 or older) to the Wynn Rewards counter, which is located in the center of Encore, to obtain your Wynn Player card.
If I pick up my seat assignment prior to the start time of a tournament, when should I arrive to play?
A player who registers in advance and is given a seat assignment prior to the start of the event should arrive ahead of shuffle up & deal. This ensures a smooth start to the event. Chips will be put into play at the beginning of the event for players who have a seat assignment.
How does the casino process tournament payouts?
IRS Compliance requires a valid government issued ID and SSN. Non-resident aliens are subject to 30% US income tax withholding. ITINs are required for Treaty Country exemptions. Tax form W-2G will be issued to all players winning in excess of $5,000, net of event buy-in.
