Interview
ClubWPT: I am here with our ClubWPT winner. This is William Jesse James. By the way, that is the coolest name in the world. You have to know that. I am very interested. You won a $10,000 seat into this tournament on ClubWPT.com. What was the tournament like that you bought into?
William: I didn’t buy into it. At ClubWPT, you pay $19.95 a month and you play all the tournaments you want. I’ve been on the Club for six months and I’ve cashed 30 times. I won this tournament on Valentine’s Day. Other than the birth of my two children it is the greatest thing to happen to me in the history of my life. Yo, Adrian I did it! That’s my tribute to Rocky.
ClubWPT: You have a cool hat thing you were doing. You have your own style going on. You’ve brought it here.
William: I play a lot of poker in different Poker Clubs around Los Angeles. Any time I go in, I turn my hat around, with my glasses on and I play. I take them off and put my hat back up and it just freaks them out.
ClubWPT: That’s William Jesse James. That’s how it’s done. How are you doing so far in this event today?
William: I have about 48k.
ClubWPT: 48,000 in chips right now, and you have a chance at almost $1.8 million and you paid $19.95 a month to play here.
William: Don’t forget about the bracelet. I want the bracelet.
ClubWPT: You need it. Look at this wrist. It has nothing on it. We have to get you this bracelet. So far it looks like you’re on your way.
William: I’m trying. I am playing my game. I have learned a lot at ClubWPT. I am being patient.
ClubWPT: Would you definitely recommend it for all of our fans?
William: Definitely! Definitely!
ClubWPT: If I could play I would. I don’t think I’m allowed. Keep hanging in there and I hope to see you at the final table.
William: I would like nothing more.
